Our belief is centred around Jesus who said
"I have come so they may have life in all it's fullness"
and who said
"I am the way, the truth and the life, no-one comes to the Father except through me.’"
We recognize, however, that there are many opposing beliefs that that have arisen from Jesus, his life and teaching. We believe that the bible contains all that we can and need to know about Jesus and therefore we stand in the protestant evangelical tradition of the Christian faith. For those who have an established Christian faith it may be of help to know that we are members of the evangelical alliance and of the Baptist Union of Great Britain who both provide statements of faith we adhere to.
For those of you who do not have a Christian heritage our belief is simply that the bible will lead you to the truth about Jesus and what it means to follow him which will lead you to know about the truth of God which will lead you to find life in all its fullness.
We would be delighted for you to join us as together we seek to find and follow Jesus and discover that he is the way, the truth and the life. |
