Prayer is at the heart of our worship at New Park Road Baptist Church.
Prayer is simply talking to God and because we can have direct access through Jesus, we know our prayers come before God. Therefore Problems can be solved and attitudes altered through prayer.
- We can thank God for all His goodness to us;.
- We can acknowledge our wrongdoings to Him and ask Him to forgive us;
- We can ask God to grant our requests for ourselves and those we love.
- We can pray for other people, and their needs
How and when can you join us in prayer at New Park Road Baptist Church?
Apart from during the regular Sunday Service, and at our mid-week Fellowship Groups there are several other times when you can join us in prayer.
Should you have a specific need to pray for on a Sunday then please make yourself known to one of the Leaders at the end of the Service when we will be only to happy to help you and pray with you or for you.
PRAYERS FOR THE CHILDREN
Each Thursday at 9 am those that can get together at the church to pray for the health and well being of our children.
PRAYERS FOR THE PASTOR
On the first Friday of each month we meet to pray for our Pastor. That the Lord may continue to speak through him and show him how to continue to do His work amongst the people in our Community.
PRAYERS FOR OUR MISSIONARIES
We also get together to pray for the work of the missionaries we support, that God may be with them in all that they do and give them encouragement to carry out his work.
Please check the Diary page for the next Prayer Meeting that interests you.
